Pantheon steel, makers of the famous halo handpan and are based in Farmington, Missouri. Pantheon steel is co-founded by Kyle Cox, who got his start with steel drums. Later on he involved the late Jim Dustin as co-creator and became one of the original handpan makers in the USA.
Acolyte Nirvana Handpan
About Acolyte Insturments
Acolyte, created in Glendale, California, by Jay Terence, have a handpan for every budget. Their Acolyte line is readily available, and are very low maintenance, beautiful instruments. Their Nirvana line are 100% hand made and are customizable. Acolyte handpans have the best value to quality ratio of all the handpans made in the USA, IMO.
TZEVAOT
About Tzevaot
The Tzevaot handpan is made in losangeles and is the vision of a father and son team who were inspired to create a handpan based on their love of the instrument and the challenges they had obtaining one for themselves.
Tzevaot is made according to Patented PANArt Method, and today is readily available online.

Daniels made handpans is a small operation out of Boone, North Carolina by a gentleman who decided one day to begin building handpans after purchasing several over the years.
Andersen Instruments- Bali Steel Pan
About Andersen Instruments
Mr. Andersen is a very friendly and responsive person. He is a busy guy, and in addition to these great handpans, he is now making a NEW instrument the euphone. Chris is based in the USA, but the handpans originate in Bali, although these days the handpans ship from the US.

Makai instruments originated on the big island of Hawaii. Each handpan is custom made as a collaboration between the handpan maker and the one who will eventually play the handpan. Makai handpans made in the USA are one of the original USA based handpan makers.

I admit, they have some pretty sweet looking and sounding handpans, and I am enchanted.
I also really, really like the name Vimana, which is what the ancient Indian texts called UFOS. Well played!

Stevan Morris, the maker of Hamsa handpans was mentored by Dave Beery of Dave’s Island instruments. In 2015, after several years of being mentored and touring, playing the handpan, Stevan started making handpans himself. Hamsa handpan is located in Los Angeles, California.
They have some of the freshest looking most unique handpans I have seen. Very innovative!
HAPI Drum
About HAPI Drums
HAPI drum makes handpans, tongue drums and other fine insturments. HAPI Drum is based out beautiful Oakhurst California. Grahm Doe the HAPI drum maker, collaborated with Dave Beery for several years learning the art of handpan making before finally making and offering handpans in 2016.
I am a fan of their 10 note handpan, which has the 8 notes normally seen on a handpan up top, and two extra notes on the handban bottom. (find the 10 note handpan on their website)

Pansmith Handpans are custom crafted by handpan aficionado Curtis Smith out of Guthrie, Oklahoma. Mr. Smith fell in love with the handpan after the first time he heard its enchanting vibration.
He wanted his own handpan and soon discovered how pricy and scarce they were so he decided to make one. His first handpan was cleverly crafted from a wok. If thats not American made ingenuity, I don´t know what is.

About Isthmus Insturments
Isthmus instruments stands out in my mind because the visionary and creator of Isthmus handpans, Jenny Robinson is a woman and so is the master tuner, April Moncrief. There are only a handful of female handpan makers and tuners, even today as handpan popularity increases.

The creator of Isthmus Insturmenst, Jenny Robinson, collaborated with handpan artist Mark D’Ambrodio and together they wrote the book Handpan Method.

I knew this handpan maker was fly when I saw their 10 note handpan with all 10 notes up top. You can get these charming handpans made with one or two notes out of line with the others, and they are called Cyclops (for 1 offset note) or mutant notes ( for two offset notes) .
Pansnap Solaris Handpan
About Pansnap Solaris Handpan
Bryant Evangelista the maker of the Solaris handpan sold by Pansnap music is another protégée of David Beery of Dave’s island instruments.
The Solaris hand pan is so named because the ding note is shaped like the sun.
Pansnap is located and the Solaris handpan is made in Austin, Texas.
Spirit Handpans
About Spirit Handpans Made in the USA
Sprit handpans deserves their spot on this list of handpan makers usa. They are located in Ashville, North Carolina. Spirit Handpan is another handpan manufacturer run by primarily women. The creator and tuner of Spirit handpans, Rebecca, was mentored and taught by Jon of Aura handpans, to because one of the few female handpan creators and tuners.
Rebecca seeks to encourage other women to follow their passion and hopes that her instruments are used as a facilitator of connection with others.
Gibson Handpans
About Gibson Handpans
Gibson handpans is a small handpan maker located in Santa Ana California, not too far from the beach. The handpans are made by metal fabricator Chris Gibson whose handpan creation won him a people’s choice award at the California Blacksmiths convention.
