A Note– 3rd Eye Tuned crystal singing bowl
The 3rd Eye Chakra oversees intuition, inner guidance, clairvoyance, psychic ability, vision, perception, and reading people.
When the third eye chakra is blocked, you may lack intuition or imagination. You may be easily manipulated or tricked. You may have a hard time judging the intention of others.

B Note – Crown Tuned crystal singing bowl

This chakra becomes out of alignment when you become disconnected from your feelings to the degree you feel numb. When you feel doubt and are not committed to your physical life when you are not living authentically and have lost touch with why you are here.
This chakra is intensely influenced by meditation aimed at reestablishing the bigger picture.
To reconnect to your crown chakra, one way is by playing your singing bowl while holding the flowing intentions in your mind:

Frosted Crystal Singing Bowls
Most of the Crystal singing bowls on the market are frosted crystal singing bowls.
These are white, or colored, and have a frosted appearance on the outer surface. These bowls are thick and durable. Frosted crystal bowls can hold vibration and sound, and are the loudest and most vibrant crystal singing bowls, ideal for an audience and larger meditation spaces.
They are easy to play, and the least expensive of all types. They are a favorite for beginners and seasoned crystal bowl players alike, and they are my personal favorite style of crystal singing bowl.
Empyrean Crystal Singing Bowls
Rich vibrant sound, full sustain, like clear bowls. Thicker and heavier than clear bowls, not as fragile. They are similar to frosted bowls in terms of their thickness, weight and heft and how easy they are to sing.
The difference is empyrean crystal bowls are hand polished on the outer surface. Hand polishing is the reason empyrean crystal singing bowls are more expensive and harder to come by.
The polished outer surface of the empyrean crystal provides a marginally clearer more steady tone than a frosted bowl.

Clear Crystal Singing Bowls
Clear crystal singing bowls are thinner and more delicate than their frosted counterparts. The sound they make is equally delicate. If you want a quieter crystal singing bowl, for a personal meditation space, or a shared living area, these are ideal.
Clear crystal singing bowls have longer sustain, which means the singing you produce with them lasts longer. The singing is very clear, pure, and vibrant.
Size matters! Choosing the Best Crystal Singing Bowls for you
I like big bowls, and I can not lie!
If you can afford one and have the space, I recommend getting the biggest bowl you can. I think 10 inches is ideal. That’s why I selected several 10-inch bowls to put on my list of the best crystal singing bowls of 2020.
Bigger bowls have a pleasing, deeper resonance, and I feel they are more grounding. I like the way they sound and I find them easier to play.

Crystal singing bowls are made from 99.99 percent pure quartz crystal. The quartz is melted at a VERY high temp, 2844 degrees!
Then the quartz is placed in a spin mold and centrifuged so the bowls can be formed. Neat huh?
Can I put water in a crystal singing bowl?
Yes!
You can use your crystal singing bowl filled with water and see and hear what happens.
The water will jump from the surface as droplets, creating a sound similar to a babbling brook, or light rainfall.
I love to fill one of my crystal bowls with water for a relaxing mediation when I am stressed. I love the sounds of nature, and I am drawn to water in particular, as my star sign is Cancer, and I find the sound of moving water very soothing.
I highly recommend it!
How are Crystal singing bowls made?
Quartz and Quartz crystals are formed at HIGH temps.
To make a singing bowl, 99.99 percent pure quartz is heated to a very high temperature of 2844 degrees to melt the quarts and produce a foundry paste.
