Let me be honest here. There are a bazillion great Spiritual Awakening Books. OK well, maybe that’s hyperbole, but there are a lot. Having gone (and currently still going, if I am being real) my spiritual awakening several years ago, I devoured books about spiritual awakening like a fat cat with a can of tuna.
So, this list is simply my personal collection thus far, and I am CERTAINLY open to your suggestions, in fact, many of the books on this list were recommended to me by friends. I have added and plan to keep this list updated.
So with that said, here are 7 of the best spiritual awakening books I have read.
So grab your beloved cat, a cup of coffee, and burrow into your favorite easy chair with one of these gems.
Law of One (Books 1 through 5)
Without further ado, here is my current list of the 7 best spiritual awakening books, in no particular order.

The Law of one book series was probably the second or third book in this list that I read, but it had a profound effect on me and is one of my favorites, along with the Seth material.
How did the Law of One books come about?
The books are channeled by Carla Rueckert. Basically, she is positioned on a bed in a very specific manner, prescribed by the social memory complex known as RA. Then Don Elkins asks questions and those questions are answered by RA via Carla.
There are 5 books in total.
The book format is question and answer.
Aside from the spiritual knowledge and understanding of how the universe works, one of the things that struck me the most was the immense grasp of language RA has. The vocabulary RA uses is both complicated at times, and always spot on and ultra-articulate. I had to look several words up, and the meaning those specially chosen words convey cannot be said using simpler words from the English language.
So who is the Social Complex known as RA?
The social complex RA was created millions of years ago by the consciousness of Venus. In order to further their own evolution, they are to assist less evolved civilizations. They have been allowed to contact our human civilization on earth in ”thoughtform”. The permission was granted by the Council of Saturn, located in the Eight dimension (or octave) located in what we see as the rings of Saturn.
Why is RA contacting us, humans, here on earth, living in 3rd Density?
This is the money question. RA is contacting us now because it is time for third-density Earth to move on to the 4th dimension and they are here to assist. The channeling of RA began in the early 80s when RA began being channeled through Carla.
Take Note
RA says that we can be either in service to others, according to the Law of ONE, or we can be in service to self. Interesting to note that either way, BOTH are in service to the Infinite Creator.
RA says that the Earth is not quite balanced between the Law of One and Service to Self. According to RA Earth leans slightly to Service to Self. Bummer!

Energy Work: The Secrets of Healing and Spiritual Development

Review:
Robert Bruce’s book on Energy work is filled with simple easy to use techniques and written in a down to earth style.
What this book lacks? A pretentious writing style and flowery far-out words.
Energy Work is decidedly less “spiritual” than other books on this list. This book is quite practical and hands-on, without delving too much into philosophy and beliefs.
If you have a hard time with traditional visualization meditation and techniques, this Energy Work book helps you overcome problems visualizing.
If you have a hard time seeing things in your mind’s eye these tactile exercises are tactile and involve touch and other senses too.
One of the exercises in this book is called Creating Energy Balls. The title of the exercise gave me a chuckle, but I find the technique really useful.
In my video on calling back your energy, I use an energy ball, an ORB, as a vessel for my runaway energy. So, using the energy ball technique in Robert Bruce’s Energy Work book is a perfect fit in my technique.
Energy Work: The Secrets of Healing and Spiritual Development is a practical handbook that encourages and fosters self-awareness and body awareness.

The Center of the Universe Is Right Between Your Eyes But Home Is Where the Heart Is

Review:
This has to be one of my favorite book covers. It looks like an Ayahuasca vision.
I ordered this book on Kindle, and it’s an interesting read I was hapy to add to my books about spiritual awakening collection.
Mr. Pallamary touches on so many subjects related to shamanism. It starts out pretty technical, or science-y, in the beginning. Expect to read about themes like energy, vibration, resonance, and how they relate to the human body.
Everything is Energy!
He talks about our senses, and the LIMITS of our senses, and how there is vastly more we cannot sense, compared to what we can.
Later in the book, he delves into a subject near and dear to my heart: shadow work!
Mr. Pallamary insightfully guides the reader to the idea that what we see and are critical of in others, is actually something we have in our shadow. It’s a tough pill to swallow, to admit that what we hate, we contain, deep within, but I sense he is right.
The book posits that a shamans healing work is not done by the shaman himself, but that the Shaman and the patient meet in the consciousness outside themselves, which I see as the collective subconscious mind, and Mr. Pallamary calls The Great Man.
Shamans believe that everything is connected, people, plants, animals, all matter, and all of creation are connected. By virtue of being connected, everything we do affects others.
If we do good to others, we do good to ourselves, and if we do bad, well…we are only hurting ourselves.
The Center of the Universe is right between your eyes, But Home is Where the Heart Is, is a great read that touches on SO many subjects related to shamanism and life and existence and how things operate. It has so many jumping-off points, one could hardly hope to delve into all of them but it gives you a lot to explore.

Review:
Dolores Cannon is a hypnotherapist, teacher, speaker, and author, among many things.
In this book, The Three Waves of Volunteers and the new earth, Dolores Cannon interviews clients using her very own Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique.
These past life regression sessions with her clients give us a glimpse of who the three waves of volunteers are, what they are doing here, and hint at our purpose on earth right now.
If you have ever asked yourself the question “Why am I here? This world is harsh and downtrodden?” I recommend you read this book as you seek answers.
While I read it with a skeptical mind, and I can’t say I believe every single account, it inspired in me a deep sense of curiosity and offers an alternative to the traditional western religion’s explanation of life, existence, and meaning.
This book offers an explanation of why we are here and gives us hope that Earth is transforming from a dark, dismal place to a lighter, more loving, and enlightened place in the future.
The Three Waves of Volunteers provides an explanation for the madness in today’s world, and even if you question some of the accounts, it’s a great place to start and gets you thinking in new ways.
In a nutshell: We are diplomats of an up and coming, brighter and lighter world, we are here to work out and resolve past karma, and work together to transform this dreary world of survival into a fresh new world of abundant creation.
The Convoluted Universe Spiritual Awakening Books Set by Dolores Cannon
If you find the client accounts in the Third Wave of Volunteers a bit repetitive, the client accounts in The Convoluted Universe by Dolores Cannon are far more varied, and each chapter is different. The Convoluted Universe set is a great set of Spiritual Awakening Books.

Review of the Seth Spiritual Awakening Books set
Review:
The Seth material was channeled by Jane Roberts starting in the late ’60s. The ideas are totally revolutionary to me, and completely unlike the ideas presented in the Cristian religion, I followed previously.
This book presents the idea that we live in several dimensions at one time, and that so-called “past lives” are actually being lives concurrently with this life.
Seth assures us that the personality we have in this incarnation is permanent, but explains that this part of us that lives in this particular reality is not the entirety of us. This personality is only one piece of a whole that is much larger than we imagine.
Seth says we are like actors in a play, and that WE wrote the script. In other words: “You Create Your Own Reality.” And I create mine.
Seth warns those among us who feel things deeply and profoundly that we are the ones who will manifest our thoughts and ideas the fastest precisely because we feel them so intensely.
But not to worry…
Seth does not leave us hanging.
He goes beyond merely explaining, and insists his words are meant to be ACTED on. He prescribes exercises and processes we can use to access the power and wisdom within ourselves and make the changes we want in our lives.

The Wisdom of the Shamans

Toltec shaman and co author of the popular books, The Four Agreements, and The Fifth Agreement with father don Miguel Ruiz, don Jose Ruiz, again generously shares his knowledge with us in this new book, Wisdom of the Shamans.
One of the core principles of shamanism is that the wisdom you seek is ALREADY inside of you. Don Jose Ruiz teaches us this though using stories and through those stories conveys and explains the principles of shamanism.
Along with the stories, which I love because they make learning much easier for me, don Jose has included healing practices, meditations and other rituals and exercises to facilitate our assimilation of the lessons.
If you choose this book to further your spiritual growth you can expect to do a bit of shadow work. Shadow work is not always super fun, but it IS the fast track to spiritual growth.
What really helped me as I read this book was to read through it quickly one time, then pass through a second time with a much slower cadence, taking the time to meander through the chapters one by one and linger on each lesson until I felt like I got what I needed from the wisdom there.

I credit this excellent book, paired with Ask, and It is Given, for the initiation of my meditation practice. This book in particular outlines a four step process over the span of a month that guides the reader through a healing and enlightening meditation process.
But before Joe dives into the meditation process he explains first how our thoughts, and the way we think, affect the outcome of out lives. The ¨habit¨ of being ourselves, is the habit of thought we engage in everyday. He spends at least the first half of the book showing us how out thought patterns are sabotaging us.
The last portion of the book was the most helpful for me, because it taught me how to meditate and how to dig into my mind and root out negative thought patterns and replace them with thoughts that serve my higher good. Just being aware of the thought patterns in the first place was a revelation for me.

Great list of books. Ra material and Dolores Cannon are 2 of my favorites. Are you a fan of Many Lives, Many Masters by Brian Weiss, Life After Life by Raymond Moody or Bringers of the Dawn by Barbara Marciniak? They remind me of some of the books on your list.
